Congress is considering massive cuts to federally funded cancer research, we must raise our voices to protect cancer cures. Every new breakthrough in cancer treatment and prevention starts with federal funding. Cuts to cancer research mean slowing progress, delaying new treatments, and putting lives at risk.
Your Pennsylvania member of Congress needs to hear from you! On Tuesday, August 26th from 10:00am-11:00am, ACS CAN is holding a press conference and public health event on Independence Mall to show our opposition to these proposed cuts. We need to make sure our message is heard loud and clear. Join cancer survivors, researchers, and lawmakers on Tuesday, August 26th to say NO CUTS to cancer research funding.
