Join us at the first Stand Up for Science event near Walla Walla, WA! Experts from the Washington Department of Ecology will review the history of the Hanford nuclear site and its environmental impacts. They will also describe how Ecology is working to mitigate the current effects and avoid future extreme negative effects on the Columbia River's communities' downstream inhabitants—both aquatic and terrestrial—from the Tri-Cities (Kennewick-Pasco-Richland) to the mouth of the river by Portland.

The event will occur twice, November 7th from 2-4pm and November 15th from 11am-1pm, in the Delany Room of Columbia County Library.

Please don't forget to invite your friends, family and colleagues if they’re as ready as you are to stand up and fight back for the institutions of American science and health!

See you soon!
